

Red Cross emergency workers have dedicated time and effort not only to provide protection for the Estero Florida cover seekers, but also English Education.
Many of the Estero residence are foreign and require ESL (English as a second language) education, and a few days seeking refuge from the storm provides a perfect opportunity to get a head start on an English education:
"It's very important for me to learn English because we live in this country," said Cano through a translator.
He is the main reason this class started.
Carmen Munoz, the Hispanic Affairs Coordinator with the local Red Cross, spotted him every day - writing down sentences in English, trying to teach himself. -
