400 km bike journey to teach

Imagine riding you bicycle 400km across China.  Imagine doing it at the age of 52.  Imagine doing it to volunteer teach English.  That is the attitude some Chinese have in preparation for the 2008 Summer Olympics.  Wang Jian Guo has been teaching English for over 20 years and hopes to help out his fellow country men prepare for the summer games.  Though China has been recently struck by severe earthquakes and has been hard hit by problems in Tibet, the people are determined to make the Olympics special.
Wang Jian Guo states:

"I travelled all this way to train people in the English language and I especially want to help them with English pronunciation and phonetics.

My students [the majority of whom are retired or elderly] are able to grasp the pronunciation of the English words after only one month," - Buan News
